Scriptural proof that it is the man's job to make the morning coffee...

Best Friends Coffee Painting

My Daughter-In-Love hugging the Daughter I Love

Hi everyone...I do hope you have been enjoying the wonderful YouTube tutorial that she blogged below as much as I have. Wow, what a talent. When I was mulling over the concept of Faith Folk her name just kept popping into my head and heart, we talked via email, she accepted my offer of coming alongside of me here and Ta, Da...here we are. Hope you enjoy. Pam

Plan on thinking of things today that you are thankful for and then actually stop and thank God for each one. Share them with us in a comment, we'd love to hear from you.

Oh, the Biblical proof that men should make the coffee? God says so in... Hebrews.

I like the Hebrews ditty. My husband doesn't like coffee and I only like fru fru coffee. My son, Hebrews!!

Monday evening my daughter was going to leave and drive 5 hours to see her boyfriend (who is not a Christ Follower) We said NO. She knows if she leaves she cannot come back (tough love, other circumstances) I called my son over, who did leave for 9 months with no communication a few years back (Miss Alicia's DH) He came and talked to her for 2 hours. She didn't go. I prayed this whole time that the Lord would stop her. My son was an answer to prayer. I am thankful for him, for my daughter not leaving and for God blessing me with HIS answer! Thank you Lord!

Paula, I am thankful with you. Tough love is hard love, but it's real love. We raised 3 children in this fallen world, I too know the heart break and the triumphs. I pray He would bless you and your little girl today, (that's my little girl in the photo on this blog, she's 31 on July 11th). She is winding her way back to His arms. My daughter-in-law is a faithful and faith filled follower of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I am coming alongside of you to thank Him with you.
Thank you Lord for helping this family! Thank you that "You know the plans You have for us, plans for good and not evil." Thank you for Paula's sweet ministry to others in this medium, where people can read about Your saving love world wide. I ask that you protect her and her family while she continues to speak the truth about You in love and in the hard places.
Hugs,
Pam

hi, pam! just checking in! how did John's follow-up go???

John's follow up went very well. They are changing a few meds and we got to come home although I packed as though we wouldn't get to. John asked me to pack a lot reminding me of the time we left for only a 2 day trip, and he was unexpectedly hospitalized with rejection of the lung and we were there 2 weeks. I had to buy clothing, art supplies, etc. So, I bring books, (Streams in the Desert devotional), art stuff, clothes, jacket, etc. So glad I didn't have to use them. I bring art supplies because when John is doing well, I go to the hotel while he rests, set up a studio and paint.
We were detoured due to flash floods, fallen trees etc. I'm going to blog photos. We were just behind the storm both ways. All the destruction before us or behind. We never were really in much of it. Tornadoes really caused quite a bit of damage too.
Thank you for asking :)
Blessings,
Pam
